A hidden character is observable. An author's identity is an inference. These are different questions, and a responsible inspection keeps them separate.

What this scanner checks

The browser scanner checks Unicode characters, spacing, punctuation, mixed-script lookalikes and a disclosed list of style cues. It does not run a trained authorship classifier or identify a language model.

What a phrase match means

Phrases such as ‘in conclusion’ or ‘it is important to note’ occur in generated text and human writing. We flag them as editing cues, not evidence of misconduct. The full matching list is shown with the results and in the open client engine.

Why there is no AI percentage

A percentage would imply a calibrated probability. This tool has no validated authorship model or accuracy benchmark, so it does not manufacture that number. A clean technical scan is not proof of human authorship either.

Make a better decision

Review sources, drafts, context and the author's process. Do not use a trace report as the sole basis for an academic, employment or other high-impact judgment.
